REBLOG – The Most Important Cardboard Box Ever?

The Brownie was as much a revolution as the digital compact/smartphone camera in our time.
Reading “The stroke of genius behind the Brownie was that Kodak was essentially a film-making company, and the cheap new camera created a huge demand for these films by giving the people the means to take pictures, again and again” made me think the end of Kodak had already began with the Brownie. Kodak suffered from lack of diversification and in fact always stayed a company that makes film. When the days of film kind of ended… well, we know the story.
