Ivy in color

In the woods with Little A. The same tree and the same ivy I photographed a while ago in black and white with my Yashica Electro 35 GSN.

Just playing with the Nikon 50mm f1.4 and boy do I want one.

  1. Oh Stephan, I truly love this. I would love to have this hanging in my office to get lost in every day. Beautiful, my friend.

    1. Hello Annie, thank you, I’m still wondering if I prefer the black & white version I posted some while ago or this one. They are two different photographs meaning I did not convert a color negative to black and white. Guess I’m still asking myself if I should do more color and what it reflects and how I can express myself.
      Watch you mailbox 🙂

      1. Thank you so much, Stephan. I must say that overall I love your work in Black&White the best. You capture such emotion in those shots. For some reason, this particular photo with the ivy hugging the tree just grabbed me. It may sound a little crazy (like me) but it makes me think of Beloved and me. Clinging for life!

        Much love, Annie
