“Long” Exposure 2 – Before and after

I scanned another old color negative with a “long ” exposure of the river Lesse in the Belgian Ardennes.

I used the Photoshop Black and White conversion layer to convert the color image to black and white. To be honest I like both yet preferring the black and white version.

I know, I am making things even more difficult for myself 🙂

“Long” Exposure

Yesterday evening I talked with Sweetheart about doing color next to black and white. I find her input very important. After all Sweetheart is my muse.

She is not convinced color has an added value and I guess she is right about that. On the other hand I feel I am rediscovering film and need to leave all my options open.
I think I’ll keep color as a side project for the time being.
Anyway, while browsing through some old photographs, Sweetheart set aside a few she liked very much. I promised to scan them.

Here is one I made during a trip with my mother in 1989 or so. Could be a little earlier, I really have no clue.
