A few photos of trees I made a while ago and a short, tender piece of piano music. I used a Sensel Morph with a Piano overlay and the Spitfire Audio plugin with Philip Glass’ “Glass piano” preset for the latter. Nothing fancy.

Three Trees (2021)
Back from De Hoge Veluwe
Sweetheart and I enjoyed a great long weekend in De Hoge Veluwe, The Netherlands. Read about the National Park here.
We hiked quite a lot and explored the surrounding by bicycle.
The weather was great. For those who want to visit this area, I cannot recommend enough our hotel. We also dined at the hotel and the food was simply delicious. Read about the hotel here. (I am not paid to make any publicity. I am simply sharing my experiences.)
The first day I shot a roll of 120 in my Yashica Mat but the next few days I shot with my Nikon D2h and a 24-120mm lens or with the superb Ricoh GR II.
Looking back taking Woody (the Intrepid 4×5 Mk 3) with me would have been useless. After all, it was all about much-needed quality time with Sweetheart.
It is not impossible I’ll be returning somewhere end of October first week of November. Solo and with Woody. There are quite some interesting subjects to shoot with LF.
Maybe I’ll even shoot LF color. I’m very curious to try that out. Not sure yet to choose Kodak Porta or Kodak Ektar but I’m guessing the light will be soft and then Portra may be the best choice. Hell, maybe I’ll even try both.
In this post are a few examples or studies I made with my Nikon D2h.

Reflection
I shot this a week or two ago, one of my first shots in months. Maybe that is the reason why I like this image.
It is a reflection in a stained window of an old shed.

In the woods (again)
I have been walking a lot in the woods these past few days. It relaxes me and there is always something to photograph.
In the woods
Trees, trees and trees standing erect like proud soldiers.
Army of trees
Once again at the forest rim. They look like an army defending an enchanted world.
